Built For Zero: A Commitment To End Veteran Homelessness

Quicken Loans is committed to ending U.S. veteran homelessness. We partnered with Community Solutions on Built for Zero, an initiative that assists communities by coordinating resources, methodology and technology to reduce the number of those experiencing homelessness.

Quicken Loans, including QLMS, offers financial and operational support for Community Solutions and the work it does in more than 80 communities across the country. Quicken Loans also brings its number one resource to the table – its people. By investing team member time and expertise in areas like communications, logistics and data analytics, Quicken Loans will help accelerate the progress the country has already made on ending veteran homelessness.

The results have been impressive. Through Built for Zero, more than 70 communities have housed more than 68,000 veterans. Even more incredible: 12 communities have ended veteran or chronic homelessness.

QLMS Supports The Florida Association Of Mortgage Professionals (FAMP)

In 2019, QLMS proudly partnered with FAMP at its annual golf tournament that benefits the Hearts and Homes for Veterans organization.

This South Florida organization’s goal is to end veteran homelessness. FAMP provides many necessities to turn a house into a home for veterans and their families. All the money raised at this golf tournament stays right in the community. QLMS Account Executives and their partners (some of whom are U.S. veterans) hit the greens for great drives and putts, but at every moment they were paying tribute to U.S. veterans who have given so much.

Doing Our Part And Doing Good

We’re proud of our Quicken Loans and QLMS team members who contributed 87,690 hours of volunteer time in 2019.

In December 2019, our QLMS team, including Account Executives and our Operations team, donated:

  • Over $99,000 to charitable organizations, including over $50,000 to Built for Zero
  • Over $45,000 to individual charities selected by QLMS Account Executives
