To get through this, all Americans will need to do their part. As mortgage originators, your duty is to assist clients in buying or refinancing their homes. With the economy taking a significant hit, your role is especially vital.

Last week, Quicken Loans shifted almost all of our 18,000 team members to work from their homes, and I’m proud to say that we’ve done so without any disruptions, lapses in turn times or changes in service for you and your clients.
With demand for mortgages at an all-time high, we know how critical it is for us to deliver you speed with certainty. And we will do so.
As a lender who has spent more than three decades investing in infrastructure and technology, we are extremely prepared to continue operating business as usual during this uncertain time.
This is a great country with strong and resilient people. I have been incredibly proud of our team over these past weeks and I’ve been equally proud of our partners. The composure and strength I have seen from all of you has been inspirational.
I’ll close with a quote from one of my childhood favorites, Mister Rogers:
“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.'”
